LIFE Skills Instructor

As a LIFE Skills instructor, you will work with program participants to help them develop the essential skills required to live independently. Skills development may focus on social interaction, communications, hygiene, nutrition and food preparation, home care, personal health maintenance, money management and self-advocacy, among others. |

Job Coach

The job coach provides training and supervision at the job site. You may work at our facility or on-site at an employer's place of business. The goal of the job coach is to help the program participant develop good worker characteristics and skills that will ensure their sucess on the job. A job coach can expect very diverse workdays with a variety of activities. The job coach must have a high energy level and be able to respond well in a structured environment, yet be able to work independently and at a brisk pace. |

Career Counselor

As a career counselor, you will work closely with area employers and program participants to develop employer/employee relationships and to create placements. The successful career counselor demonstrates the ability to research employment opportunities and is comfortable with cold-calling and closing sales. The career counselor is a careful listener who is persuasive and able to demonstrate creativity in solving challenges. |
