The Scenic River Classic is a racing event for seasoned athletes and beginners alike. The race route follows the beautiful Snake River in historic downtown Idaho Falls, Idaho. Proceeds from this event benefit people with disabilities receiving services from Development Workshop, Inc.

How do I register?

You can receive a registration packet by emailing race coordinator at race@dwinc.org. A packet will be mailed to you, or a form can be emailed for you to print and mail in with your payment.

You can also register in person by stopping in at one of Development Workshop Inc's locations.

Registration will also take place at the Red Lion Inn in Idaho Falls on Friday, June 16 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and at the starting line on Saturday, June 17 from 6:30-8:30 am.

How much does registration cost?

The fee for early registration is $20.00 per person. Those who wait until the day before or the day of the race will be charged $30.00.

What giveaways and fun events are part of the Scenic River Classic?

All participants will receive a T-shirt and race bag with giveaways. Those who race will also be placed in a drawing for prizes. Food and entertainment will be at the finish line.

What are the prizes for top finishers?

The top male and female finisher in each event (5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K run) will receive a $100 cash prize. Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event and each age division.

Where and when does the Scenic River Classic take place?

The race is run along the beautiful greenbelt trail in Idaho Falls. The starting and finish line is on Higham Street. The race will begin with a "shotgun" start at 9:00 am. The event will be wrapped up by 1:00 pm.
