Despite a gusty breeze sweeping across the fairways, sponsors and golfers weathered the challenges and made for a successful and enjoyable 1st Annual DWI Foundation Golf Tournament.  Held at Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls, 14 teams scrambled on the links rolling dice, throwing grenades, cashing in mulligans and chasing down their golf balls.
Contests included longest drive, closest to the pin and closest to the water (without actually going in the water).  Congrats to the team from Cooper Norman for coming out on top.  A raffle was held at the end of day.
The famous flamingo flock, which has traveled throughout Idaho Falls and Ammon for over a month (starting on National Pink Flamingo Day!)  finally finished their tour by settling at the golf course.
We appreciated all the teams that came out and spent their afternoon with us.  And especially a big thank you to our incredible sponsors.
Birdie Sponsors ICCU and Smith, Woolf, Anderson and Wilkinson.
Hole Sponsors Marshall's Tile, Hendrickson's Towing, Hopkins Roden, Jake Kay from State Farm, Lookout Credit Union, Tadd Jenkins Auto Sales.
Walk to End Alzheimer's was also on hand to sign up walkers for their upcoming walk in September.
A great big shout out to the DWI Foundation Board Members who worked tirelessly on not only the Golf Tournament, but on the Flamingo Flocking as well.
All the funds raised will go to the DWI Foundation as they look for ways to increase resources to continue the Mission of DWI, especially during these uncertain times.
Again, thank you to all who came out and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
