Our DWI Board Chair, Todd DeVries, was honored as one of the Silver Stars for 2023, by the Post Register at a luncheon on Monday July 24th. Silver Stars are individuals (55 years and older) recognized for their personal and professional accomplishments, talents and contributions to Eastern Idaho.
Todd is currently the Chair of the DWI Board of Directors and the Chair of the Idaho Falls Soup Kitchen. Years ago, Todd actually interned at DWI learning all about variety of programs offered to individuals who have a disability. Todd has been a strong advocate for the community in raising awareness and assisting those who have a disability to achieve their chosen level of independence. He is serving his second 3 Year term as a Member of the Board of Directors for DWI.
By engaging his own disability, he has assisted in making our website more accessible to others.
He is an avid outdoorsman, and he and his wife, Kathryn, are Chukars Season ticket holders
